雨の音に起こされた午後

干したばかりのシーツを取り込み

丸め放り込んで、髪を濡らし眠気覚まして

ジュースを買いに出た

一歩一歩一歩進むたびに増える班

ほんの数分間で、もう肌に吸い付いた

すれ違う人らは皆少し急ぎ足で

早回しの古いテープのようだな、と思った

散々な日も、良き日も

空を仰げば

我関せずの雲が笑うだろう

気にせずとも移り変わる季節の中で

みんな各々、今日を生きていく

夏の風を思う、ある秋の日のこと

冬のように寒い、ある春の日のこと

晴れた野原は

どこまでも続いているかに見えた

踏切を越えて、今

変わるもの、変わらぬもの

とりあえずは全部飲み込んで

流れてみてるところ

順風満帆とは言えないが

考えることなく歩ける日々が

ずっと続けと思う、終われと思う

泣いちゃうくらいに嬉しい夜は、靴を鳴らして

街はブロードウェイ、踊るように行こう

不安な夜は寄せ合ってくるまり眠るがいい

穏やかに

Waking up in the afternoon to the sound of rain

retrieving the sheets just hung out

throwing in the bundle, wet hair brushing away the sleepiness

went out to buy some juice

Dot, dot, dot every step I take

In a matter of minutes the cloth clung to my skin

People pass by in a hurry

It was like a quickened tape I thought

On our not-so-great days, and on the better days

up above in the sky

the indifferent clouds will be smiling down

Without addressing it, in the ever-changing seasons

we’re living today, every single one of us

Thinking of the summer wind, one autumn day

Chilly like in the winter, one spring day

The sunny meadow

looked as though it went on forever

Passing the railroad crossing, now

Changing things, unchanging things

just as well swallow it all for now

Seeing things from in the flow

it’s not smooth sailing, but still

Days when we can walk with a blank mind

wishing they last forever, wishing they end altogether

In nights full of tears of happiness, lets click our heels

the city’s our Broadway, lets dance forward

During those worrisome nights we’d better sleep cuddled up

peacefully
